Berkeley Psychic Institute is the workshop of the Seminary of the Church of Divine Man (CDM). CDM is a non-denominational psychic Christian church that is open to everyone.
Church services for Sacramento are generally held on the fourth Sunday of each month. Church begins at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time. There are a couple of times a year when we change the date to accommodate other events. Services are offered both in-person and online via Zoom. In-person attendees are welcome to participate in a potluck and social space after church.

Rev. Glenda was raised Catholic and considers herself a “recovering Catholic.” What she loves about being raised Catholic is the belief that there is one God and learning the Lord’s Prayer. She has always had a good communication with God and, during her training for Confession (a Catholic ritual), wondered why she should confess her sins to a Priest when God knew her best… cut out the middleman and go straight to the source. So, she would often make up things for confession. Growing up she would perform mock Mass to her dolls and stuffed animals.
She lost her connection to God in her 20’s (one of those “sex, drugs and rock ’n roll” kids) and felt blessed when she found the Berkeley Psychic Institute and the Church of Divine Man in Sacramento in 1992. She attended Church as often as possible – back then, church was almost every week. Thank God!!!
Glenda has completed many classes and programs offered through the Berkeley Psychic Institute. Her favorite is Ministers In Training … she learned to read the Bible for herself and started to clear more of the interference between her and God. She took MITs three times: once as a student, once as control, and once as assistant teacher. Later, after retirement, she got to teach MITs for a couple sessions.
Glenda has two grown boys who were ‘Holy Terrors’ growing up and still are, according to reliable sources. She also has four absolutely adorable grandchildren.
She has a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and a Masters in Business Administration. She retired from the County of Sacramento, ran around in an RV for a couple years, and moved to Arizona. Her mother now lives with her and her two dogs. But the grandkids are in Sacramento, so you might see her there every once in a while!
She’ll tell you she wouldn’t be here without the help of Jesus, and her new pet project is reading and studying the Bible and other religious texts.
